General requirements to prepare for integration

• Log into your account and find the box labeled ‘Custody balance’ above on the left side of the Dashboard.

• On the right of the Custody balance box, click the button labeled ‘Conversions’.

• A ‘Conversions’ popup window will open.

• In the popup window, choose:

  • The currency to convert from (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).
  • The currency to convert to (e.g., USDT, USD, etc.).

• Specify the amount you want to convert.

• After reviewing the details, click the ‘Confirm’ button.

• Your conversion will be processed, and your new balance will be reflected in your custody section.

  Via Custody

• Log into your Dashboard and navigate to the ‘Custody’ section.

• In the ‘Balances’ table, choose the balance you want to convert and click the ‘Convert’ button on the right side of that balance.

• You will be redirected to the ‘Conversions’ box. The converted currency will automatically match the balance you selected.

• Choose the from and to currencies and enter the amount you wish to convert.

• After reviewing, click the ‘Confirm’ button to complete the conversion.

• Your conversion will be processed, and your new balance will be reflected in your custody section.

  Via API

Use Create conversion request to convert one crypto asset to another.

How it looks for your User:

1. User will choose the currency in your system
2. User will then see the QR code and the deposit address.
3. User sends the funds to this address - any amount they want
4. ⇒ it is deposited on your custody if enabled. You will get info on the currency and amount via IPN.

1. What are your fees?
   1. 0.5% for payments without exchange. Example: customer pays with BTC - you accept BTC
   2. 1% for multi-currency payments that require exchange. Example: customer pays with BTC - you accept USDT. NB: 0.5% of this 1% is the swap fee: for auto coin conversion
   3. It’s also 1% if you use our features such as fixed rate payments and “fee paid by user” option, which enables fixed-rate by default.
   4. NB - each payment has network fees, charged by the blockchain, not by NOWPayments. For each asset commissions are different.
2. What is the payment flow and what fees are taken when?
   1. Customer sends funds, customer pays network fee for miners
   2. The funds go to the generated deposit address on NOWPayments
   3. NOWPayments processes the payment - that is when the exchange fee/transaction fee is charged by the service, and a network fee may apply (not charged by NOWPayments)
   4. The funds go to the merchant's wallet / custody. If the custody is disabled, and the funds go directly to the merchant’s wallet - network fee applies.
3. Where can I find minimum amounts for payments?

You can check minimum payment amount for each currency pair here.

1. What do we do with partially paid payments?
   1. Partially paid payments are finished payments, but user sent a bit less than expected. You can change their status manually in your dashboard.
   2. You can also use payment covering feature to make partially paid payments finished if you allow user to send a certain percentage less than expected.

3. Can we convert one currency into another?
   1. Yes, if your user sends, for example, BTC, and you want to accept USDT - we’ll convert it for you automatically
   2. And yes, you can also convert your Custody balances in your account and withdraw to a wallet of your choice
